Vouchers

We have Surf coupons and Urbansurf prepaid cards. How to buy the vouchers, what they are valid for and how to redeem vouchers you can find here.

How to get there

We recommend that you travel to the Urbansurf facility by public transport. From the train station "Zürich Hardbrücke" and the streetcar station "Schiffbau" it is only a few minutes walk to the platform at Geroldstrasse 11c.
If you want to come by car, please use the parking spaces at the train station "Zürich Hardbrücke" or for example the nearby parking garage "Pfingstweid". There is no public parking directly in front of the Urbansurf facility. You can find our address under contact.

Admission

The entrance / access to the Urbansurf platform is free of charge and open to everyone and every age during the official opening hours. (Exception: closed society / special events). The entrance of people is regulated; in case of a large number of visitors there may be waiting times.

What do I need to take with me?

For your surf session you will receive a suitable wetsuit, lycra, surfboard and if desired a helmet from us on site. Please bring your personal identification (ID card / vehicle registration card). You are welcome to bring your own surfboards up to max. 6'2" (only with leash) or wetsuits. Otherwise you only need your swimming trunks or bikini and a bath towel.

Which session suits me?

If you have never surfed a standing wave before, we recommend our beginner session. There you will get valuable tips from our coaches. We also recommend a beginner session for experienced sea surfers. If you already have experience on a standing wave and are able to get started without help, then the Advanced Session is the right choice for you. For children and teenagers up to 16 years the Kids Session is suitable.

Online Slots vs On-Site Slots

We sell our surf slots online via our booking tool. If the session is not already sold out until shortly before the start, spontaneous surfers can grab the still free spots on site at the Welcome Desk.

Minimum age / Maximum age

The minimum age limit for kids is at the discretion of the parents. Kids should not be afraid of water, be able to swim well and weigh at least 30kg. Helmets are compulsory and an adult accompanying the child must be present. There is also no upper age limit. Anyone who feels fit and has no health restrictions is welcome for a surf.

WC / Shower / Lockers

Toilets as well as changing cubicles are available. The outdoor shower cannot be used at the moment because of the COVID-19 protection measures.

Restaurant / Table Reservations

We do not accept table reservations.

Parking spaces

There are no parking spaces directly in front of the Urbansurf platform. If you come by car, please use the surrounding parking garages or public parking outside the area.

Lost & Found

Have you lost or forgotten something on the platform? We keep all lost and found items with us. Please contact us on site at the Welcome Desk or call +41 76 224 42 24 to pick up your lost item.

Dogs

Dogs are generally allowed on the platform. A leash is required. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area (wet/barf area).
